Where are the soaps made?
At our shop premises in the picturesque village of North Queensferry, Fife, Scotland.
What is cold process soap?
Cold-processed soap is made by mixing sodium hydroxide (lye) with water, blending it with fatty oils, and adding essential oils and natural colorants like clays. They are then poured into moulds and take 24 hours to become soap (saponification process). Once removed from the mould, they dry for an additional 24 hours before being cut into individual bars of soap.
Are all your products Vegan and Cruelty-Free?
Yes, all of our products are Vegan and Cruelty-Free, and all products are tested by ourselves, family and friends.
About how long will one bar of soap last?
If you bathe your whole body every day and keep the bar dry between uses then it will last between four and six weeks. If you are using the bar only as a face wash, and you wash twice each day, it will last eight up to fourteen weeks.
Does the soap lather?
All our soaps produce a very creamy, rich and luxurious lather.
Does your soap contain SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate)?
No. Our Soap doesn’t contain SLS or any other nasty ingredients like silicones. All our products are handmade using natural and plant-based ingredients in the most sustainable manner.
Does the soap contain any artificial fragrance?
Only our Scottish Oats bar of soap contain artificial honey fragrance, since we are a vegan company, we do not use honey.
What is the added benefit of using fresh soap instead of soap made months ago?
Natural herbs and botanicals picked today are better than ones picked a few months ago. Our handmade soaps are freshly made in small batches to ensure freshness and consistency. Our 100% natural formulas prove this every day in showers all over the world.
Is your soap suitable for all skin types?
Yes, our formulation has been designed for all skin types, and also for the most sensitive ones.
If I buy your products now and want to give them as a gift later, how long are the products good for?
All of our products are made to be used within a year, but we can always ship to your loved one for you and at a time you specify, just contact us or leave a message with your order and let us know what the gift card should say, and what date it needs to arrive.
Does your soap contain Palm Oil?
Not all of our products contain Palm Oil. Our hand & body soaps, and facial bar contain Organic Sustainable Palm Oil produced in a farm in South America registered in the RSPO-certified sustainable scheme. Our Shampoo, Hair Conditioner, and bath products are Palm Oil Free.
Can you ship overseas and retain the freshness?
We’ve shipped to America, Australia and Europe. Normally it can take up to twelve days to travel (depending of the shipping option selected). Our customers are completely happy with the products when they’ve used them. Our repeat overseas business proves this.
Do you guarantee health benefits from your products?
While many herbs, natural ingredients and pure essential oils contain health-related properties, it should never be used to self-medicate or treat any form of physical, mental or health problem.

How long does shipping take?
We do our best to get your products to you safely, and in a timely manner. However, after we hand off your package to our shipping partners, we are no longer in control of it. Please refer to the shipping and returns policy for further details.
